- Registration is free and done on Find a Tender, using a GOV.UK One Login.
- You enter your core supplier information once: connected persons, qualifications, exclusions and finances.
- A share code lets a buyer see that information when you bid.
- If your details change, update them and create a new share code.
What the Central Digital Platform is
Under the old rules you retyped the same company details into every selection questionnaire. The Central Digital Platform stops that.
It is part of the enhanced Find a Tender service. Every supplier bidding for contracts under the Procurement Act 2023 registers once and keeps its information up to date there. Buyers check that information as part of their assessment, alongside the questions in their own tender pack.
You do not need to register just to search for tenders. You need it when you start bidding under the new rules, and many buyers ask for it at the first stage.
What to have ready before you start

- 04Qualifications and trade assurancesRegistrations, accreditations and memberships your business holds.
- 05Exclusion groundsHonest answers about the mandatory and discretionary exclusion grounds in the Act.

- 02Sign in to Find a TenderAgree to the privacy policy and add your first and last name. This completes your personal Central Digital Platform account.
- 03Register your organisationChoose “Register an organisation”, then Supplier. Enter your Companies House number if you have one. Add your registered name, a shared team email and your registered address.
- 04Complete your supplier informationOpen your organisation and choose “Complete supplier information”. Fill in basic information, connected persons, qualifications, trade assurances, exclusions and financial information.

Common problems
- 01No Companies House numberSole traders and some other organisations can use another identifier, or the platform will generate a unique identifier for you.
- 02The wrong person registeredMake sure the administrator is someone who will stay with the business and keep the record current.
- 03Information out of dateBuyers see what you registered. Update it after any change and create a fresh share code.
- 04Not sure which rules a tender usesTenders started before 24 February 2025 still use the old rules and their own questionnaires. Check the notice.
